This is an opportunity to join an exciting and growing team in front office systems for an international banking brand who are a key global player in FX trading.

Expanding your knowledge is encouraged, but a solid foundation in Java within Financial Services is a must for this role.
Some of what you'll be doing as the successful Senior Java Developer:
- Supporting, maintaining and updating software systems for all aspects of the global electronic trading business
- Working closely with other engineers, business users and supporting functions to deliver stable, performance and compliant solutions to complex business problems
- Designing and implementing efficient and performant solutions to business problems
- Testing and validating that solutions meet business and regulatory requirements
- Ensuring that solutions are compliant with organizational policies and regulatory requirements
- Contributing to the wider design and evolution of our technology platforms
The skills they'd like to see from the successful Senior Java Developer:
- Strong Core Java development skills
- Experience in Data Structures, complexity theory and CS fundamentals
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- 8+ years' experience in financial domain development
- Highly motivated, and suitably equipped to work directly with traders/quants
- Proactive and flexible approach to dealing with challenges
Desirable:
- Proven ability to deliver front office systems
- Some domain knowledge around FX or Fixed Income
- Any exposure to KDB

Salary: £80,000 - £115,000 base depending on experience + benefits package
