Java Developer - London
London-based fintech start-up are building a cutting-edge product to give financial firms the chance to enhance their returns and minimize costs in today's capital markets. The product development team is totally responsible for building and rolling out the functionality that is valued by their loyal clients. They're constantly growing and understand that, thanks to their transparency, each individual hire can grow and progress within the company.
They use Java, Kotlin, Maven, Angular 8 and AWS.
Responsibilities - Write the code that powers their product
- Partner with business analysts, quants, developers and clients to understand and deliver customer expectations
- Support the functionality provided to clients; for example, drilling into the accuracy of calculation results and investigating mismatches
- Understand how the financial analytics in the product provide value to our clients
Requirements - Solid Java experience
- Degree in Computer Science
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Design experience, specifically distributed systems
- Experience in the financial industry
