The Role:

The Regulatory and Governance portfolio is looking for a confident and driven Junior Business Analyst . This might suit someone at the start of their business analysis career or perhaps someone who has embarked on a change of direction towards it. Either way, you'll provide dedicated support to the regulatory portfolio, whilst gaining an in-depth understanding of the business as you learn about regulation in detail.

We will support your development with a framework of mentoring from experienced BA's and professional training to gain a recognised BCS qualification in Business Analysis. Working with a variety of stakeholders across the firm, this role will grant you the opportunity to use and learn traditional and innovative tools and techniques such as Agile to demonstrate how Business Analysis can enable positive business change across the business and implement regulation successfully. You will be actively developing your business analysis skills and stakeholder management skills through business analysis activities and ad hoc support to Bas and Project Managers.

• The ability to work with business users in order to understand their business model
• The ability to interpret regulatory rules and look to apply these to impacted business areas
• Good problem solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and determination to see initiatives through to completion.
• Proactive and delivery focussed with good communication skills - both written and verbal.
• Ability to present information clearly and succinctly at varying levels of detail.
• A self-starter with experience of working on projects.
• Ability to develop, adapt and maintain effective working relationships within the team and across the business.
• Capability to facilitate small workshops and meetings with stakeholders.
• Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables reacting positively under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

Have a genuine interest in learning and expanding their knowledge and understanding of the challenges and developments impacting distribution & technology capabilities in the Asset Management industry.

You will have:

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• An understanding of project methodology
• AN understanding of importance of regulation within the financial sector
• Ability to lead/facilitate discussions across various levels of stakeholders/support partners
• Solid work ethic and willingness to take on new initiatives
• Excellent computer skills, particularly Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Visio
• Enjoy working in a fast paced environment
