Junior C# Developer
Salary: £35,000 base + bonus
1-3 years' experience
Job description: Client One of the UK's leading providers of independent investment advice, research and solutions for over 140 years, this firm has a strong culture of of integrity and hard work. They are seeking a Junior C# Developer to join their small, agile team in London, where you will contribute to the technical specification, design and maintenance of desktop-based applications and services.
Role In this role, you will be engaging with the business to build out new systems to solve critical business problems.
The ideal candidate will be a very strong problem-solver, adept at managing day-to-day issues, and a skilled communicator, with experience of regularly liaising with customer stakeholders.
Skills and Experience Required - 2+ years' experience with C#, .NET and VB programming languages - required
- Solid experience within an agile development environment
- Strong development skills in ASP.NET, Win Services, Winforms, Web Services (REST/SOAP), WCF, LINQ and Entity Framework
- Familiarity with Azure-based web application development preferable
- Experience of at least one Javascript library, e.g. React, JQuery, Angular or Vue preferable
- Financial technologies and/or products exposure would be advantageous
