The Role



The Junior Ebilling Specialist is responsible for providing general support to the billing and collections team within Charles Taylor Adjusting International ensuring the EBilling files are uploaded swiftly to the relevant client platforms. The role will involve tasks such as, but not limited to, invoicing uploads, queries and appeal activities supporting adjusters, workload management and to continuously strive to improve the accuracy and speed of invoicing activity for the department.



This role is on a hybrid arrangement and will require presence in the London office.




Key Responsibilities



  • Act as point of contact and work independently in accurately processing fee invoices, actioning rejections/appeals using Ebilling platform and communicate payment status updates using CMA.

  • Ensure key mandatory data is accurate after cases have been created by the wider operational team and adjusters time has been recorded.

  • Assist with invoicing when required

  • Reviewing invoices for errors and discrepancies, before upload into client third party Ebilling platforms, including minor editing of draft invoices to ensure final version meets acceptable vendor requirements.

  • Transact invoices (file uploads) through clients Ebilling platforms and maintain tracker of all activity.

  • Establish and maintain effective relationships, both internally and externally at all levels i.e., with adjusters within the business internally and clients externally.

  • Manage Ebilling mailbox and respond to queries and requests, client inquiries and discrepancies and flag and follow up on resolutions daily.

  • Collaborate and communicate with the wider Working Capital team to address queries impacting our ability to collect fees once invoiced.

  • Provide consistent and accurate reporting to various stakeholders across Adjusting International on key matters.

  • Carry out Ad Hoc duties and tasks that are allocated to you at the discretion of management and that are within your capabilities and within the scope of your post.

Required Skills



  • Experience in E-Billing (advantageous).

  • Strong IT skills including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams etc.

  • Personable with an ability to build strong relationships with people, both internally and externally.

  • Team player with a can-do attitude who is also comfortable working independently without supervision.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a good telephone manner.

  • Accuracy, numeracy and attention to detail.

  • Strong organisational skills, ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines.

  • Results orientated individual who takes pride in the performance of the team and delivering high quality outcomes




Key Performance Measures



  • Invoicing and cash collection results against monthly, quarterly and annual targets

  • Managing client invoice platforms and resolution of invoice appeals and queries successfully.

  • Reduced Working Capital at risk, meeting the organisation's key financial metrics.
