Junior Finance Analyst/Accounts Payable - elite trading firm - £27,000 + bonus! Reporting directly to the Head of Financial Control, the Junior Finance Analyst's primary responsibility is for the payments and receivables process across all the company's entities. Additionally, the candidate will support the financial control team with the month-end process.

Reporting directly to the Head of Financial Control, the Junior Finance Analyst's primary responsibility is for the payments and receivables process across all the company's entities. Additionally, the candidate will support the financial control team with the month-end process.
Day-to-day this will include:
·Responsibility for the accounts payable process, liaising with suppliers and internal approvers, overseeing the automated process from purchase order requisition through to payment of suppliers.
·Managing the accounts receivable process, analysing and reconciling receivables, overseeing the client billing and monitoring aged debtors.
·Manage the employee expenses and credit card processes, allocating transactions and reconciling to the statements.
·Supporting the Financial Control team in the month-end close process for the four legal entities, including posting month end journals and reconciling the balance sheet accounts, in particular the bank rec, intercompany rec and prepaids rec.
·Liaising with external auditors for annual/interim audits and providing information as requested.
·Supporting the finance team and business with ad hoc requests.

·Standard MS Office package and accounting software
·Strong Excel skills and database query skills e.g. SQL
·Good IFRS/GAAP working knowledge and accounting best practice.
·General understanding of financial services industry, including terms and language.
·Strong A levels
·Beginning to study / part qualified for accounting qualifications (AAT, CIMA or ACCA)
The role can pay up to £27,000 + bonus!
