Our client is a leading global Alternative Asset Manager who are are seeking an ambitious trading assistant to support their European High Yield Traders across full trade lifecycle.This s a great opportunity for the successful candidate to be trained and progress internally in to trader role.
Responsibilities
- Trade bookings, managing existing trades, modelling trades, pricing and risk management
- Understand fund complexities/intricacies on complex trade allocations
- Size potential trades, ensuring adherence to limits and restrictions, as well as booking eventual executions
- Resolve pre & post-trade settlement issues
- Come up with trade ideas, and efficiency improvements
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in economics or finance related degree ( min 2.1)
- c.1-3 years post grad experience
- Fixed Income Buy-Side experience
- Excellent Excel and MS Suite skills
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve problems
