Our client is a boutique equities investment manager with an excellent track record, being named one of the top performing houses of recent years. Our client is looking for a bright, Sales professional who can hit the ground running and help them grow their business. Our client pride themselves on investing in the right candidates, exposing them to the wider business and helping them develop.

 

This is an excellent opportunity to add value within a business that is diversifying and growing at a fast rate. The successful candidates will need to be a good team player, be able to juggle a multitude of tasks, evince a strong eye for detail and be proactive, creative and innovative in their approach to marketing the business and products.

 

Key responsibilities and duties include:

  • Building relationships with existing Institutional and Intermediary clients
  • Mapping the market and targeting new clients
  • Assisting the Head of Sales during pitches
  • Developing core skills to close business
  • Aiding the design and production of key sales and marketing material
  • Assisting / providing understanding of investment strategies and Brand analysis of existing investment strategies versus each other as well as within the competitive universe
  • Oversight and maintenance of CRM systems
  • Consolidate prospect and client feedback
  • Assisting in the production and oversight of client and new business presentations, fund newsletters, factsheets and other client communication
  • Coordination and facilitation of various client communication channels
  • Sign off off of supporting materials for relationship managers and fund managers

 

 

Necessary qualifications and competencies:

  • Experience within Asset management either working within sales or very closely
  • Understanding what it means to be a sales professi0onal within Investment Management and be committed to this career path
  • Deep passion in the financial markets and asset management
  • IMC qualified advantageous
  • At least 2 years’ experience in investment management 
  • Experience of using Salesforce (CRM), advantageous
  • Critical thinking - innovative and creative problem solving skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships across global offices
  • Positive, flexible attitude
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
