A hedge fund with approximately 5 billion dollars in assets under management are looking for a junior candidate to join their all-encompassing investor relations, business development and client services team. They will be interested in both recent graduates or candidate with 1-3 years experience. This role offers a great chance to learn from experienced hedge fund professionals whilst offering a clear career pathway to a more specialised role in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Speaking with clients and dealing with queries on a daily basis to support an excellent client experience.
  • Preparation and maintenance of quality fund-raising documents to support the business development.
  • Maintaining and updating fund models and performance details.
  • Using excel to calculations, e.g. compound interest and statistical volatility.
  • Preparation of investor presentations to support the excellent brand image.
  • Preparation of technical diligence documentations.
  • RFP responses.

Requirements

  • Degree in business, economics, finance, accounting or similar subject from a reputable university.
  • Proficient in Maths and English
  • Experience, ideally coming from an investment bank (M&A, Leverage Finance or Equity Research), corporate finance advisory (Transaction Services) or an Asset manager is a plus although graduates will also be considered.
  • Expertise in MS Office (particularly Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Excellent language skills in English; other languages are desirable.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • High attention to details and accuracy.
  • Team player mentality with good interpersonal skills.
