Role Overview:

We are looking for a UI & Digital Content Designer to support our digital design projects from discovery through to delivery. You'll work closely with senior designers, strategist and account teams to turn insight into high-impact digital content, wireframes and high-fidelity interfaces. This is an ideal role for someone who is eager to learn, iterate and grow in a fast-paced agency environment. Experience with Figma and the Adobe Suite is a must.

Experience in content planning (e.g. sitemaps, basic information architecture, or mapping content to user journeys) is a bonus, but not essential - we'll support you to build these skills on the job.

Responsibilities:

  • Create on-brand, platform optimised digital content across a number of mediums, focusing on web and social

  • Collaborate with senior designers and wider project teams to understand client briefs, user needs and business goals

  • Contribute to UX activities such as user journey mapping, basic user flows and low- to mid-fidelity wireframes

  • Design responsive UI layouts, components and interaction states for web and mobile using our design system and brand guidelines

  • Provide wider design support across clients, using the Adobe suite

  • Show a can-do attitude, and handle multiple requirements in a fast-paced environment

  • Support simple usability testing or design reviews, taking notes and helping translate findings into design improvements

  • Work with content, strategy and account teams to ensure designs support key messages and campaign goals

About the candidate:

  • 1-2 years in an agency or in-house creative team role

  • Portfolio showing digital product or website work (academic, personal or commercial) with clear explanation of your design process

  • Basic understanding of user-centred design: user journeys, wireframes, visual hierarchy, accessibility fundamentals

  • Proficiency with Figma (proficiency with other web tools such as AdobeXD / Sketch is a bonus)

  • Proficiency with the adobe suite, able to support delivery of key projects outputs with a great eye for details and efficient working practices

  • Strong visual design fundamentals: typography, layout, spacing, colour and consistency

  • Ability to take direction, respond to feedback and manage your time across multiple projects

  • Clear and confident communication skills when talking through your work with the team
