Redstone Commodity Search are working with an international oil company seeking a compliance professional to join their team in London.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

  • Responsible for providing legal advice and assisting in dealing with compliance issues related to floating the company on the London Stock Exchange both pre- and post-IPO
  • Manage the company’s post-IPO program including develop and implement the Group Disclosure Policy and compliance manual to ensure the company is compliant with applicable regulations for LSE-listed companies
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of control procedures for regulatory compliance
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities when necessary as well as investor relations and finance teams
  • Reports into Head of Compliance

Key Qualifications / Experience

  • Previous experience implementing regulatory (post-IPO) compliance procedures in an LSE-listed company
  • Prior experience in a compliance or legal role in an LSE-listed company or advising an LSE-listed company (Big 5 company or law firm that provides corporate secretary services, transaction services etc.)
  • Strong understanding of commodities sector (oil, gas, renewable energy, metals, mining etc.)
  • Degree in law specialising in commercial/corporate law, fluency in Russian would be an advantage
