Your team
You'll be working in the Reference Data Technology, as part of the Technology division in London. We provide reference data services to various units in bank helping them trade, settle and report. This benefits our consumers within Front offices and Group functions. As a Lead DevOps Engg, you'll play an important role in enabling Reference data transformation on Cloud

Your expertise
• working experience in Cloud Environments. Microsoft Azure/ AZ-900, AZ-400 certification is plus
• programming background required - hands-on experience with at least one programming language (Java, Python, C#)
• expert in docker, Kubernetes (Azure Kubernetes Service is a plus)
• good knowledge of continuous integration and deployment pipelines (Teamcity, Jenkins, Gitlab, Docker, Helm Charts)
• working with large and complex code bases (Github, Gitflow, Fork/Pull Model). Gitlab is plus
• experience working with Service Mesh infrastructure (Istio)
• experience working with ARM templates, Terraform, Ansible, Azure DevOps
• knowledge RESTful web services is added advantage
• knowledge about security basics for e.g. OpenID Connect, OAUTH2, JWT, TLS and desire to learn more
• fluency with UNIX command line tools
• fluency with other modern/popular languages (powershell, Go)
• working experience in Agile methodologies (SCRUM, XP, Kanban)
• understanding of design patterns and distributed system architecture
• experience in leading and mentoring junior enggs is added plus
