Leading Investment Management business based in the City are looking to recruit a Lead Market Intelligence Analyst to join their EMEA Market Research team. Working closely with the distribution function, you will be responsible for delivering analytical insights into the clients, competitor landscape and product positioning to drive sales.

You will be responsible for conducting both quantitative and qualitative analysis  to enhance sales, strengthening client relationships and helping them stand out against their competitors.  You will work closely with Product, Investments and Sales focusing on both Institutional and Intermediary channels across EMEA. Responsibilities include:

  • Deliver regular reporting on competitor landscape and product positioning to enhance dialogue with clients and prospects
  • Conduct indepth comparative analysis of competitors and their Investment strategies and vehicles using various databases to identify opportunities and threats
  • Analyse market trends, monitoring market trends by country and channel, analyse fund flows and AUM patterns
  • Manage research projects and present findings
  • Contribute data and insight on strategic planning and offer recommendations
  • Serve as the SME and response to queries from distribution and manage research repository

To be considered for this role you must have previous experience in working in a Market Intelligence/Market research role where you have analysed competitor landscape and product positioning from an Investment Management business.  You will have both strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills and have the ability to present the findings from the analysis.  You will have strong product knowledge and have experience in working in/with distribution.  Knowledge of both Institutional and Intermediary channels is essential.  Along with your analytical skills, you will have outstanding communication skills.
