A Global investment bank with an impeccable reputation in London, is searching for a Liquidity Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. The role holder will be responsible for further development and implementation of the liquidity management and funds transfer pricing framework in relation to the Bank's portfolio of businesses. There will be a particular emphasis upon the activities and liquidity risks associated with the Global Markets division, spanning a wide range of asset classes, including: Fixed Income, Rates, Emerging Markets, Equities, Prime Finance, Structured and Portfolio lending

Responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting holistic, cross-product development of the bank's liquidity risk management framework
  • Supporting input to internal models, regulatory metrics, business planning and advisory, in addition to funds transfer pricing policy and application
  • Ensuring that the framework for identifying measuring and managing risk operates effectively and supports the steering of resource within the context of business strategy
  • Exploring of liquidity risk management issues and collaborating with businesses to proactively manage the balance sheet
  • Developing new Liquidity Risk product models, monitoring funding and liquidity requirements of businesses and developing Liquidity Management Information Systems (MIS)
  • Developing relationships with key stakeholders, including business heads; ability to communicate complex subject matter at all levels of the organisation and influence senior level decision-making

Key skills required:

  • Experience within a Treasury department or business unit / support unit of an investment bank's trading division
  • Ideally have had interaction and experience with fixed income and equity products / businesses
  • Experience in drafting documentation to Board or Regulatory standard (e.g ILAAs, Internal policy documents) would be useful
  • Articulate with excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to work independently
  • Ability to interface with business units and stakeholders
