M&A Technology Consultant

We are working with the advisory business of a global accounting firm, and a leader in the field of M&A advisory to private equity and FTSE100 corporate firms.

This team are looking for experienced IT consultants with a blend of technical knowledge and business acumen. These individuals will need to be able to hold their weight in technical conversations and have a fair understanding of core infrastructure systems, ERP, servers and networks as well as applications and software. This team looks at target companies and advises investors on technical aspects within acquisitions, identifying risks as well as opportunities to generate value.

Skills and experience required:

  • 5-8 years' experience as a technical consultant, or working in a corporate IT strategy team within a reputable firm
  • Strong business analysis skills within technical environments, familiarity with architecture frameworks, core infrastructure systems, applications, cloud computing and software development
  • Strong IT project experience, ideally having worked on complex IT change projects and can demonstrate an ability to work in ambiguous environments
  • Bachelors' degree is essential, ideally within STEM subjects
  • Ability to demonstrate business acumen, able to communicate complex ideas to senior stakeholders

Please note that this position is mainly London based but will require travel to client locations in the UK and Europe, though this is typically less than 50% of the time. Due to the nature of the role and the requirement to travel at short notice, Visa sponsorship is not available.
