Position Overview

We are currently looking to recruit a Management Accountant for our London office to support the Finance Manager as the business continues to grow. 


In this role you will:

  • Maintain and prepare monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations for UK and US entities
  • Ensure completeness of accruals and prepayments for UK and US entities
  • Prepare month end revenue journals in accordance with our revenue recognition policy and completion of the revenue reconciliation
  • Ensuring accurate postings to the general ledger
  • Departmental variance to budget analysis and holding monthly meetings with various departmental heads
  • Maintaining fixed asset registers
  • Prepare UK VAT returns and EC listings for review on a quarterly basis
  • Prepare NY sales tax, California sales tax and commercial rent tax returns for review on a monthly basis
  • Intercompany reconciliations including investigating and following up on mismatches
    Bank reconciliations
  • Assist the Finance Manager and Financial Controller with ad hoc projects specifically related to process improvements
  • Work to tight deadlines alongside other members of the Finance team


  • A successful candidate will be:
  • Qualified or part qualified, will consider QBE at this level
  • Must possess basic accounting and bookkeeping skills and an understanding of fundamental basic accounting concepts
  • Competent in excel including pivot tables and lookups
  • Comfortable with working with foreign currencies
  • Able to work well within a team, under pressure and with a positive attitude
  • Knowledge/experience of Netsuite an advantage but not essential


  • Hold an undergraduate degree 
  • The successful candidate must, by the start of the employment, have permission to work in the UK
