Our client, a leading global consulting firm is seeking to hire a Consultant and Assistant Manager into their expanding M&A Value Creation Services team. You will be responsible for advising businesses and stakeholders including private equity firms who are contemplating an acquisition or disposal and review distressed business on behalf of banks or shareholders.
The Value Creation Services team is an integral part of the London office's M&A Corporate Finance offering. The team advises businesses and stakeholders including private equity firms who are contemplating an acquisition or disposal and review distressed business on behalf of banks or shareholders.

The service offerings include operational due diligence, identification and implementation of turnaround programmes, working capital optimisation and advising on business value enhancement.

The role we are recruiting for would suit highly numerate professionals with some significant industry experience and relevant work experience. Consultants from competitors with similar teams would also be suitable.

Requirements

*Significant experience in Value Creation Service lines including working capital and operational improvement projects
*High level of commercial acumen, showing an understanding of the commercial strategies and processes that drive business profitability
*Strong intellectual base with well-developed analytical skills and ability to learn
*Strong project management skills and a track record of delivering projects to time and budget.
*Ability to develop credibility, maintain relationships and operate effectively with client management
*Ability to deliver to deadlines and work independently
*Flexible and dynamic approach to designing and delivering innovative solutions to address client needs
*Ability to make connections throughout the firm to harness and lever client contacts
*Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills relating to reports, pitches and reviews
*In addition, exposure to implementing change with past involvement with business improvement programmes/re-engineering exercises would be ideal
