The individual will be joining the market & Structural risk to which work closely with several business areas & oversee delivery of reporting/develop policy.

The difference you will make.

  • Managing a Liquidity Risk Analyst and overseeing the delivery of daily, weekly, and monthly reporting to senior management and committees

  • Work with other business areas in Risk, Retail and Corporate Divisions and Financial Markets, and support Market Risk management in business or departmental wide initiatives.

  • Maintaining and development of documentation relating to policies, controls and processes across Liquidity Risk, inputting into the ILAAP process and assisting in the delivery of MREL and Recovery and Resolution oversight.

  • Keep abreast of regulatory developments and commercial landscape.

  • Work on ad-hoc initiatives and queries from senior management & seek ways to improve liquidity risk measurement practices.

What you will bring.

  • Banking or other financial services experience, with understanding and experience of liquidity risk management, reporting and stress testing.

  • Awareness of the current regulatory reporting and compliance environment (e.g. ILAAP, LCR and NSFR)

It would be nice for you to have.

  • Relevant IT skills including good working experience of Excel.

  • Good general analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to make recommendations based on your own analysis.

  • Good written and verbal communication, with the proven ability to communicate complex issues succinctly and accurately

  • Experience of developing meaningful and salient management information.

What else you need to know.

Given the recent impact of the Coronavirus outbreak we will be conducting all interviews via telephone or video-conference where possible.

This role is currently office based, London/Home based until corona virus restrictions are lifted.

We offer flexible working/We will consider people looking at his role in a part time capacity and or Job share.

This is a 9-month fixed term contract
