eFinancialCareers serves the global financial community as the leading network of career sites for professionals working in banking and the financial markets and those firms seeking to employ them. As a Marketing Executive you will be responsible for driving and executing the social media strategy and plan for eFinancialCareers, engaging a strong network of followers through B2C and B2B content. Understanding the key metrics to drive optimal performance will be important. Partnership marketing is also key to this role and collaborating with internal stakeholders to build a global program is essential.


Social Media

  • Collaborate with the Editorial content team to create and execute a social media amplification strategy (paid & unpaid campaigns) to ensure eFinancialCareers content reaches the greatest relevant audience possible
  • Identify and build long-term relationships with relevant influencers
  • Grow and manage eFinancialCareers communities on all relevant social media networks
  • Work closely with the SEO Manager to design and execute campaigns to improve engagement and inbound links
  • Collaborate with the Event coordinator to plan, design and execute campaigns to drive awareness to our events in line with our event calendar
  • Work with our B2B marketing specialist to plan and develop lead generation social media campaigns, aligned with our content strategy
  • Report on key KPIs across all campaigns and share with relevant stakeholders


  • Collaborate with the head of performance marketing and develop a partnership program that can be rolled out globally
  • Work with local markets Sales team to understand clients and candidates pain points and identify key partners to generate engagement from both jobseekers and recruiters
  • Report monthly on Key KPIs internally but also externally with all partners
  • Organise monthly performance review meetings with partners



  • Increase eFinancialCareers’ audience and community
  • Increase engagement with the platform
  • Build the partnership program in collaboration with other key team members





  • 1-3 years marketing experience
  • 1-3 years experience working with MS Outlook, Excel, e-mail and databases
  • Experience managing social media pages with success in fostering engagement and conversions
  • Experience in implementing social media, digital & integrated marketing campaigns
  • Excellent knowledge of all major social channels (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Google+, LinkedIn, Pinterest)



  • Bachelors degree in marketing (or related field) or equivalent work experience



  • Adaptable to a hybrid working environment
  • Comfortable working with Influencers
  • Interest in emerging social media platforms
  • Strong writing and communication skills with a proven ability to effectively, accurately and succinctly deliver engaging images and messages
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines, while effectively managing multiple projects with creativity and flexibility




  • Experience working for an online job board (Reed, TotalJobs, Indeed etc.)
  • Experience with content management systems like WordPress
  • Fluency in French or German is not required but would be considered an advantage
