Our client, an asset manager based in the city, is seeking a Marketing Executive, to support the delivery, communication and review of the marketing and communications plans for the specific business area, ensuring they are client focused, accountable and meet regulatory requirements. In addition, to support the wider marketing team as required, and proactively contribute to the overall delivery of our marketing objectives.




  • Develop solid relationships with the relevant businesses areas and (as appropriate) 3rd parties
  • Build a close working relationship with the relevant internal teams within and supporting the marketing team, (i.e. investment teams, client management, PR, design resource, digital, investment writing, production) to co-ordinate, as appropriate, various activities as required
  • Support the development of the marketing strategy for the relevant channel that is client focussed and complements the relevant sales strategy and meets business objectives, and to deliver them within budget
  • Proactively support development of marketing activity to support relevant channel utilising (where appropriate) external client and competitor research, and building on previous learnings / market developments
  • Develop/update and produce marketing materials including brochures, sales aids and application forms, ensuring they are delivered in a compliant manner to budget and within agreed timescales
  • Manage the production of regular communication items such as investor newsletters, quarterly reports and the build and issuing of regular emails
  • Monitor and maintain the current literature suite including updating spreadsheets and folders of live items, archiving old versions, stock maintenance, monitoring expiry dates, ensuring items online are current and all stakeholders are kept informed
  • Monthly regular review of relevant webpages to ensure all information is up to date and links working
  • Regular analysis and reporting including email click through rates, video views, web page views and downloads and making proactive suggestions for improvement
  • Writing and proof reading copy
  • Constantly challenge themselves and others to improve on existing activities, approach and accepted standards

Qualifications and Experience
Marketing qualification, ideally with some experience in a client focussed and commercially led marketing role, ideally with an understanding and / or interest in financial products.

Passion for specific distribution channel(s)
Naturally creative, idea generating and prepared to challenge the norm
Proactive, accountable and prepared to take ownership
Unapologetically client focussed, yet commercially driven with an appreciation of financial drivers / requirements
Very keen interest in the investment management industry
Excellent knowledge of core marketing principles
Sound knowledge of the key media, promotions and communications (relevant to channel)
Evidence of key capabilities required to work effectively with external 3rd party relationships and internal stakeholders / partners
Evidence of key skills required to manage project on a day to day basis to deliver to time and within budget
Confident in own abilities and articulating ideas, whilst aware of areas that may need development
