The Opportunity

An opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Governance Executive to join M&G Retail Marketing to contribute to the activities of the Marketing Governance team.

Your responsibilities will be:

Supporting the relevant process and procedures in place in M&G Retail to ensure prospective, new and existing investors receive accurate, clear, consistent, relevant and fair information in relation to M&G's funds and products, in particular:

  • To support an on-going rolling review to monitor consistency of investment messaging
  • To follow a process to review new materials and new initiatives in the same way, and to the same standards, as the rolling review
  • To track actions and provide oversight to ensure completion on a continuous basis including lessons learned and insights
  • To collate reporting for relevant governance committees/boards
  • To be the central point of referral for any consistency issues in relation to fund or product descriptions along with the rest of the team
  • To undertake 'deep dive' investigations into consistency issues as and when required
  • To carry out appropriate training in relation to messaging consistency for the relevant departments in the business
  • To provide independent challenge on consistency issues

To provide appropriate support to the Marketing department to ensure that all client communications are in accordance with relevant regulations, guidance (including FCA, and other regulators where relevant, best practice guidelines) and industry best practice.

To provide first line support to the Marketing department on any regulatory, compliance or governance related matters.

To provide support to the Marketing department so ensure it meets all of its governance obligations.

To support relevant projects as and when required.

To support the Editors in the team.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for you to have strong Asset Management experience and a good knowledge and understanding of markets, investment products and all types of customer communication and marketing materials. You will need to have working knowledge of marketing regulations and experience with compliance and training along with managing relationships with multiple departments.
