Mid-Senior Java Developer - London- UK-based Investment Bank

Salary: up to £100k base + bonus (up to 50%)

Location: London - Liverpool Street

Summary:

Newly-released opportunity for a Mid to Senior-level Core Java Developer to join the small but expanding Engineering function within a small, UK-based investment bank, to work on a variety of projects focused on building / maintaining in-house trading systems. This person will ideally come from a Computer Science background, with strong computer science fundamentals and technical competency with core Java, ideally coupled with previous banking / fintech / buy-side experience.

Candidates must currently be hands-on with Java and be up to date with the latest frameworks.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 4+ years of software engineering experience
• At least 3+ years of Java experience
• Computer Science (or similar) degree from a top-tier university
• Previous finance / fintech experience is highly desirable
