A unique opportunity to become a vital cog in one of the premier agency businesses in the world, we are looking for an energetic, entrepreneurial type to head up our middle/back office functions; straddling both our FX and Interest Rate Swap businesses.

The role entails supporting a team of 6 in London who are operating an established, market-leading agency business focused on FX and Interest Rate Swaps and coordinating with our similar team in New York. More specifically you will be required to book, match and reconcile interest rate swaps, FX spot, forward, NDF and option trades; coordinate collapses of IRS packages and interact with our prime broker to monitor outstanding risks or trade booking issues, as well as help process on boarding documentation with clients and banks. You will also be expected to consistently consider innovative ideas to help streamline our businesses and add overall value with a solution oriented approach to everything that we do.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of FX options as well as interest rate swaps, including the conventions of various IRS products, and an ability to use pricing instruments to derive IRS sizes for any given DV01, etc. They will be fluent in the use of Marketwire and Bloomberg and have very strong overall IT skills with a particularly high standard in Excel. Attention to detail is crucial; strong time management, communication and delegation skills as well.
There must be experience working in a front office environment; either at a bank or hedge fund ideally. The candidate would have familiarity with the use of FX options and at least 3 years experience dealing with interest rate swaps as a core product and be fully versatile with all aspects of IRS back and front office processes such as TriOptima, handling packages of IRS trades, novations, protocols, etc. They are also familiar with the respective regulatory regimes and the impact they have on our industry.
