Job Description:

 

The Model Development Team within Fitch Ratings is looking for a technical specialist to focus on developing and enhancing model automations and databases. In this position, you can leverage your computer skills to create and improve various business applications, and you will be given opportunities to learn models and databases in multiple technology platforms. Through these projects, you will gain valuable modelling, system and technology experience, as well as rating business and analytical exposure.

 

Position Requirements:

 

  • Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science Engineering
  • Extensive experience in IT or model development environment using C++, or Python
  • Experience working with Oracle SQL, NoSQL environment such as MongoDB
  • Proven ability to plan and prioritize work
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly

 

Other desired skills including C#/ASP.net MVC applications and RESTful Web APIs
