Please note this is a six month contract working for a large investment House and candidates must be available to start immediately

We are looking at people from an ops/custody background who are keen to learn and undertake responsibility

Attitude and commitment is key

The key focus of this role will be carry out dealing of trades according to clients instruction on a daily basis

Another aspect of the role will be to also work alongside the Client Service Managers processing the daily and adhoc cashflows

The team processes in the region of 450 deals per month and approx. 600 cashflows, working to tight deadlines to meet daily valuations times. Accuracy is of prime importance to ensure deals and cashflows are placed correctly.

Your key accountabilities

Ensure all transactions (cashflows) received are processed accurately
Continually monitor the effectiveness of the procedures and processes, with the aim of improving efficiency and risk control
Liaise directly with Internal stakeholder departments to build relationships and on client queries
Compilation of accounting information as required by the client
Provide information and instructions to third party contacts on client portfolios/activity
Initiate and participate in the process improvement initiative (new procedures and documenting procedures.)
Provide management, sales, client management and admin with timely, concise status reports, as well as meeting notes for all client visits.



Desirable skills

Experience of a high volume, low error dealing environment and/or investment management operations
Must be able to work to client/CSM deadlines and escalate unresolved issues as appropriate
Extremely organised with an ability to switch between tasks and prioritise effectively
Knowledge of MS Access, MS Power Point, MS Word, MS Outlook, Excel
A proactive approach, able to use initiative to resolve problems and willingness to learn
