Role Purpose

The Post-Production Managers role is to plan, allocate, oversee, and manage the post-production of videos and animation projects of all sizes. This role works closely with the Production and VILT Operations manager and various stakeholders, is process driven and should result in the delivery of high quality and consistent post-production and videos globally.

Role Responsibilities

You will partner with our clients and stakeholders to deliver our dynamic videos for online learning solutions that fit the client's needs.

You will be responsible for:
  • Manage editorial flow and project budgets for post-production
  • Oversight of and maintenance of metadata for compliance and video platforms including CDNs (Content delivery networks) such as AWS and Brightcove
  • Set-up and coordination of various post-production projects across all business areas, including those generated from virtual and hybrid training (the post-production team creates more than 5,000 videos a year from over 1,000 projects)
  • Management of various post-production assets, particularly the transfer of data from production to post-production and all assets produced by editors and animators
  • Manage the post-production teams schedule and allocation of multiple concurrent projects for delivery within the required time frames
  • Medium and long-term planning of post-production to resource efficiently including working with external resources and third parties
  • Quality and consistency of videos and animations produced by the team
  • Post-production documentation, editing and animation guides for technical/specialists within the team and content management structures of Fitch Learning
  • Work with third parties and vendors to increase flexibility and scale of post-production, managing client and stakeholder expectations
  • Reporting on post-production, volume, quality, consistency, and key milestones, including monthly insights and where relevant stakeholder feedback


Role Requirements

Essential
  • Ability to create processes and manage workflow to deliver accurate information to third parties, stakeholders and project managers
  • Demonstrable experience in managing multiple stakeholders on concurrent projects
  • Proven experience in managing large scale, deadline-driven post-production projects
  • Experience creating and generating reports with key metrics for management teams
  • Detail orientated, with a good understanding of how to resolve any issues and conflicts
  • Excellent time management and communication skills


Desirable
  • Understanding of post-production workflows and scheduling
  • Knowledge of post-production systems, such as Adobe Creative Suite and asset management systems
  • Competence with hardware and software troubleshooting within the studio and virtual environment.
  • Strong knowledge and evidenced use of office suite to deliver reports, schedules, documentation and other general use cases.

  • Capable of producing high-quality consistent work within limited timeframes
  • Confident and able to work autonomously and with a team
  • Flexible and adaptable with strong communication skills
