The Private Bank Specialist will promote this leading private markets investment specialist as a solutions provider and partner of choice to Private Banks through assisting and supporting private equity- related operational, structuring and after-sales issues. This role offers the opportunity to join a private equity firm with a powerful platform and global presence.

The role will be divided into four key responsibilities:

Sales: Maintaining Private Bank relationships through providing advice and support on:  

  • Their choice and selection of feeder structures.
  • Knowledge sharing with operations and legal teams.
  • Implications regarding to reporting, tax and relevant regulations (Volcker, MIFID II, KIID ect.)

On-Boarding: providing guidance to Private Banks with:

  • Distribution agreements, coordinating Private Bank teams with the firms legal and compliance teams
  • Ensuring integrity of feeder vehicles with the systems and processes of the firm

After-Sales:

  • Main point of contact for all queries from Private Banks
  • Providing assistance with operational issues including cash flow management
  • Ensuring adherence to side letter provisions and application of relevant fee dicounts

Assessment of new markets:

  • Initial regulatory and legal assessment
  • Project management of go-to-market strategies

Previous experience required:

  • A minimum of 6 years relevant work experience
  • Working in and/or with Private Banks
  • Delivering private equity/ alternative investment structures and solutions alongside Private Banks
  • Working alongside/ within external; and in-house legal counsel when managing a Private Bank product launch
  • Working alongside/within a fund administrator
  • Coordinating multiple Private Bank stakeholders
