My client is a leader in mid market private equity who invest across sector are looking to add to their Fund Finance team due to continued growth That are looking for someone trained in practice and then gained up to 4 years in an administrator or another fund

Despite the fund accounting and administration functions being outsourced, there is a high volume of funds related work that is completed in-house. 

The firm provides a best-in-class service to its investors and in order to meet these high standards the firm takes a hands-on approach managing the outsourced fund accountants / administrators. 

Main responsibilities:

The core responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to, assisting with: 

Review of quarterly and annual accounts for various institutional funds, including deal specific and carry entities

Preparation of the quarterly investor reporting for the institutional funds

Regular cash management duties

Preparation and review of drawdowns and complex distribution waterfalls as required

Investor queries as required

Preparation of monthly IRRs for the portfolio, funds and investors

Preparation and review of annual taxation requirements including UK, US and German

Liaising with the outsourced fund administrators

Managing the accuracy and integrity of the accounting data presented to investor

Managing the winding-up process for limited partnerships

Various projects within team to help make function ‘best-in-class’

Successful Candidates must have :

Previously enjoyed working in the field of fund accounting, preferably in private equity

ACA/ACCA – up to 4 years qualified, with industry / fund administration experience

Be able to manage short and medium term projects to meet ultimate deadlines

Be able to work independently and enjoy researching technical matters

Strong communicator as dealing at all levels
