I'm working with a hugely successful and ambitious London headquartered Private Equity firm who are looking for a Fund Accountant to join them their growing team.
The firm have been very successful over recent years expanding into new locations, considerably growing their AUM and diversifying into exciting new asset classes.
In anticipation of further growth the firm are looking to bring a talented individual into their ranks. Given the scale of growth the firm is currently undergoing, this opportunity represents a fantastic opportunity to join a prestigious name in the Private Equity space and benefit from the opportunities that arise as they continue on their impressive growth journey.
This role will be in the Fund Finance team focussing on the core PE business, working closely with other fund control team members, the investor relations team and the deals teams.
Areas you will cover
- Ensuring financial information and reports are accurate for use both internally and externally
- Support senior team members in preparation and review of fund valuations
- Support senior members in the preparation of fund metrics and performance metrics
- Contribute to the continued design, improvement and maintenance of systems and processes
- Help with the year end audit process and assist with fund raising
Your Profile
- A qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/ICAEW)
- Previous fund accounting experience, ideally within Private Equity
- Vision / Innovation - the ability to challenge existing ideas, proactively plan and prepare for complex challenges and contribute to technical solutions
- Relationship management - You'll be interacting with senior stakeholders and global teams and will need to be able to communicate complex issues and concepts to them clearly
