Product Analyst - thinkFolio / EDM
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Product Analyst to join our Quilter Investors arm us as we continue our transformational journey. Working with fund managers in the front office space you will be influential in enabling thinkFolio projects in line with business requirements.

You will ideally have thinkFolio experience or other similar market leading products such as Charles River, Black Aladdin.

The Product Analyst provides subject matter expertise in the given technology product to ensure that solution operates effectively. The role is responsible for supporting system functionality and/or trouble shooting, system analysis, supporting system design, assisting with user-testing and documenting business processes / procedures in partnership with business functions.

About the role
Product Support
  • Provides first line support for user queries on Quilter technology products, applications functionality and data within the assigned business area.
  • Provides support for third-party products and in-house developed applications including configuration, data, intraday and overnight batch monitoring.
  • Troubleshoots and supports system issues as and when they arise, tracking and monitoring.
  • Tracks incidents and requests ensuring service delivery meets Quilter business unit requirements.
  • Researches inquiries using available information resources and identifies solutions to potential issues or redirects issue to the appropriate resource.
  • Utilises best practices and frameworks such as ITIL while working on Incident and Problem management.
  • Supports execution of integrations to other applications.
  • Provides support during office and out of hours for assigned projects and tasks as required.
  • Develops and maintains documentation of system configuration and operational procedures.
  • Creates, maintains and communicates procedural guides and knowledge base articles for team and customer use.
  • Assists project / change teams with ad-hoc work as required.
  • Partners with the assigned business area to understand new technology scope and its alignment with any new functionality and security.
  • Develops and maintains awareness of divisional and data security and complies with policies and procedures.

Continuous improvement
  • Seeks opportunities for continuous improvement, optimisation and innovation in technology products, data and applications functionality.
  • Maintains a forward looking schedule of actions related to Product enhancements.


About you
Qualifications required
  • Work experience in defined product and or specific industry processes (essential)
  • Product or Business Analysis qualification along with hands on experience (essential)
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
  • Direct experience of working within the Wealth / Asset Management or Vendor space
  • Front office experience mandatory
  • ThinkFolio mandatory, or other similar products such as Charles River, Blackrock Aladdin
  • EDM desirable, Power BI nice to have
  • Excellent knowledge of business processes, systems and data flows
  • Demonstrable technical aptitude for troubleshooting and problem solving
  • Knowledge of managed systems and working with third party support
  • Supporting business users to explore small change requests and resolve BAU issues
