Our client, a highly regarded international Asset Manager is looking to hire an experienced Product professional to take responsibility for the management of product change in line with product governance review and approval processes, including key stakeholder engagement, committee and Board reporting and escalation.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Enhance and embed the Product Governance framework (including policies, procedures, controls and process maps)
  • Identify areas for development and follow through with improvement actions
  • Manage product change initiatives in line with product governance framework, including composition and submission of product change proposals, engagement with key stakeholders, presentation to governance fora
  • Manage competing product change priorities as part of project management activities, including identification of inter-dependencies and key milestone monitoring and reporting 
  •  Monitoring of key regulatory and industry initiatives as external drivers to our evolving suite of products and identifying impacts on the firms UK range
  • Manages functional and departmental risks in line with the UK Risk Management Framework policies and practices within the department

Experience & Qualifications

  • Knowledge and experience in asset management, in particular in a product or investment function
  • Exposure to a wide range of products (understanding of fund types and investment strategies)
  • Investor focus with detailed knowledge of UK/EU regulations as they relate to the entire product lifecycle
  • Experience in product change management including significant / minor change proposal compilation, stakeholder management, reporting, escalation and sign off
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record in relationship building, problem solving, decision making
  • Ability to deliver to tight deadlines and prioritise effectively
  • Driven self-starter with ability to think critically
