We are looking for an Product Operations and Oversight Manager with a strong understanding of the full product lifecycle and appreciation of how different departments interact within asset management.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the Product Manager will be responsible for the implementation of Dimensional Fund Advisors Ltd’s (‘DFAL’) product related initiatives.

 

A truly broad and varied role which allows the successful candidate to oversee the full product lifecycle including but not limited to. product management, fund launches, project management and product governance.

 

To be effective in this role, the individual will need to gain a detailed understanding of the fund ranges, including where and how they are distributed.  Strong interpersonal and organisational skills are desirable as the individual will interact with all areas of the business to get things done.

 

The successful individual will gain extensive experience across the full product lifecycle and exposure to the local leadership team and global executives.  There is also opportunity to support the Commercial Manager and Portfolio Management team to implement other corporate or investment initiatives from time to time.

 

Primary responsibilities:

•Drive product initiatives to completion, including share class launches, fund country registrations, paying agent appointments, fund mergers and closures
•Support Dimensional’s product governance framework, including driving working groups, reporting and asset tracking
•Co-ordinate business case approvals for new product initiatives
•Assist the global Portfolio Management Operations team with client on-boarding and fund launches, as needed
•Co-ordinate implementation of product changes, such as investment strategy and management fees
•Produce comparative analysis for fund pricing
•Maintain UCITS business process flow documentation and responsibilities
•Support the distribution of product and regulatory data to vendors and intermediaries


Experience required:

•A minimum of three years’ relevant experience in an asset management or consulting firm.
•Strong organisational/project management skills
•Experience in UCITS product management and distribution would be desirable.
•Attention to detail, including dealing with significant amounts of data, regulatory fund documentation and contracts
•A strong understanding of product launches and lifecycles
•Ability to navigate and build effective partnerships in a complex global firm
•be an effective communicator to articulate business case approvals
•Working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
