As a Program Director working on our largest client programs you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day to day working relationship with financial services clients as we deliver large, sophisticated and high profile learning engagements. Typically, you will be involved with a number of key L&D clients at any one time.
You will chair and lead daily, weekly or monthly calls with clients and support them through the implementation and execution of these programs. You will be supported by a team that includes project, operations and subject matter experts, but it will be you that the client will look to for answers as a first port of call.
Our clients are some of the largest and most demanding financial institutions so it is imperative the person in this role can manage challenging L&D clients, demonstrate credibility and instil confidence. Much of your work will involve understanding client needs and sentiment to identify the priorities, aligning internal resources as required, and communicating progress back to candidates. You will gain credibility with clients by actively suggesting solutions (originated from both yourself and your supporting teams) to help them achieve their objectives and challenges, whilst ensuring that the service we provide remains within acceptable commercial parameters.
You will be introduced to your clients early on and will work closely with them on a consultative basis to define the operational processes specific to that client from the options available, listening to their priorities and using your own and team experience to propose and deliver an implementation approach. You will sign off and be accountable for the service levels we agree with our clients relating to delivery and will be responsible for implementation. Retaining business and client satisfaction will be some of your key performance indicators. Role Requirements:
- Solid understanding of the Financial Services sector is essential
- Strong senior client consultancy and account management skills in the learning and development space
- The ability to work closely with clients and internal teams to resolve issues and develop new solutions to challenges and opportunities
- Excellent operational skills and project diligence
- Ability to evidence a background of managing complex client needs and provide robust solutions
- Good understanding of the commercial implications of project decisions and the ability to incorporate this into decision making
- Demonstrable experience of managing relationships at senior (MD+) level
- A pro-active, flexible attitude and hands-on problem-solving skills are a must
- Having worked in a Learning & Development role for a financial services firm would be a strong positive
