The Impact: This role directly contributes to three main priorities for the business; customer acquisition and growth, reputation, and customer retention. The job responsibilities impact each of these priorities through global program ownership and will make a meaningful impact toward achieving these objectives. The day-to-day actions for this role directly touch our customers and prospects by understanding the buyer journey and customer life cycle to position S&P Global Platts as the clear choice across the three business objectives.
The Team: The team is focused on two main disciplines within the Demand Center; retention and demand generation. Retention consists of on boarding, retaining high-value customers, amplifying customer renewals, and driving overall value to our customers. Demand generation entails new business acquisition, cross-sell, up-sell, nurture, and win-back initiatives. We’re responsible for delivering marketing contribution to revenue and supporting key business objectives. The team is geographically diverse to support the business globally. The team takes pride in being actively engaged across the company, working collectively, listening/communicating to stakeholders, staying focused on our priorities, and always learning on the job to grow and apply best-in-class insights.

Responsibilities:
- Develop strategic Global Program plans and work with Marketing Automation for execution of plans
- Communicate Global Program plans across Marketing and influence buy-in of plans by Regional Field, Conferences, Digital, Content and Channel Marketing Managers
- Assist the business in the development and delivery of a comprehensive integrated Program marketing plan for Global markets. This should include; detailed strategies, tactical programs, integrated communications, lead generation, nurture, and loyalty programs
- Support the achievement of financial goals by driving strategic, effective and measurable marketing Programs and Streams to be delivered Globally, on time and within budget
- Help gather and analyze data to understand if business marketing objectives are being met; quantify what has been achieved and present case studies to support this
- Responsible for the management and appropriate allocation of Program funding
- Set and report on measurable objectives for all tactics
- Maintaining the quality & relevance of all marketing communication messages to customers and the markets, to ensure maximum customer satisfaction
What We’re Looking For:
Basic Qualifications:
- 8+ years (Preferred) of experience planning, managing, and executing lead/demand generation and retention programs (acquisition, retention, cross-sell, and up-sell) through integrated marketing programs targeting customers and prospects
- Strong digital background and tactics – experience using multi-channel tactics both inbound and outbound
- Project management skills and flexibility working across various programs
- Experience working with, as well as influencing and negotiating with various stakeholder groups
- Clear communications skills as well as the confidence to speak up to lead a discussion
- Good interpersonal and negotiation skills are required with track record of driving measurable and meaningful business results
Preferred Qualifications:
- Self-motivated with strong history of demonstrating initiative to job responsibilities and being proactive across all work
- Deep background managing and incorporating digital tactics into marketing programs
- Data driven analyses of marketing programs/promotions, program performance metrics
- Demonstrated success of managing multiple programs simultaneously, aligned and executed to meet defined business objectives
- Experience in a global and regional role, dealing with and managing multiple regions is a plus
