Project Manager (Product)

The Opportunity:

We are looking to hire five Project Managers to join M&G Investments and deliver product pipeline to M&G's Front Office.

You will be responsible for the following tasks:

* Manage product development projects from design through to launch. The successful candidate will be required to motivate a multi-disciplined team of M&G (and/or external) representatives to ensure the project delivers on time and within budget.
* Ability to take a hands-on role within the project, working with fund managers and investment professionals.
* Manage senior stakeholders.
* Build successful relationships with the project delivery partners, including external legal counsel, fund administrator, trustee / custodian and auditor.
* Manage projects that deliver benefit to M&G Front Office; these are product delivery projects, rather than IT change projects.

What we are looking for:

You must have project management experience within investment management and an understanding of different approaches / methodologies. A proven track record of successfully leading on and delivering projects within a front office environment, across a wide range of functions is also essential. It is important for you to have exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal, with excellent active listening skills. You will also have strong influence and negotiating skills with an ability to manage a variety of stakeholders. As well as this, a willingness to work to tight deadlines is key, alongside managing multiple projects, taking into account evolving business priorities. You will have strong analytical and proven problem solving skills with an ability to negotiate pragmatic solutions to meet conflicting business requirements. It is essential for you to be highly motivated, proactive and resilient, as well as being flexible and able to manage ambiguity during project delivery. You must also be a team player and able to work with and through others. The ability to work effectively at all levels in an organisation is also key, alongside strong relationship management skills.
