My client is a boutique real estate investment manager who have grown substantially since launch and now have over £2Bn of capital commitments and nearly £1.8Bn of this deployed. They anticipate further significant growth in the future which has led to the creation of a new role in the team. They are now looking for a quant analyst to join the team and become responsible for the optimisation of all of their Excel based analytical tools and models. The Quantitative Analyst will be expected to develop or design new models for investment analysis, risk assessment, product and portfolio design, fund and portfolio analytics and operational efficiency. They are looking for a highly numerate, graduate quantitative analyst with a minimum of 1 year's experience in financial modelling. You must be highly proficient in VBA for Microsoft Excel and any other programming skills would be beneficial, although not essential. Knowledge or or an interest in real estate would also be ideal. This role could expand in time to help out with other teams within the business so there are strong future progression opportunities.
