A presitigious global life reinsurer are seeking to hire an actuary (ideally qualified, but some flexibility) for an analytical and engaging role within their finance department. You will take an active part in contributing to formulating their business planning process. You will also focus on integrating new reinsurance treaties into their valuation processes to give visibility of large transactions (longevity or protection) to the wider business. You will take an active part in the ORSA process and will run the model under different stresses and sensitivities. You will also manage their in-force treaty management - e.g. undertaking Collateral validation and analysis. There is an excellent and stimulating culture at this re-insurer and this would suit a slightly more outgoing actuary with strong interpersonal skills and who enjoys stakeholder management and wider business exposure (as this team works collaboratively closely with several other teams - ie pricing, research, systems etc).
