This firm has an expanding real estate franchise that has been growing for more than 15 years, and has built an experienced team of investment professionals, distribution and operational support who are based in various locations across Europe with a headquarters in London. The group has established an excellent track record in its flagship UK/European-focused fund and is continuing to grow existing products to augment this.
The key focus is now on accelerating growth by expanding their product range to a wider range of clients. My client has a long term outlook across all areas of their business, and see their real estate franchise as having the potential to become one of the major real estate fund managers in Europe so this is a really exciting time to join them.
This hire, a Real Estate Research Analyst, will focus on identifying macro themes that could drive supply and demand for real estate products across Europe. The person will be researching and identifying trends that the group will incorporate into their investment strategy, and there will be a high degree of interaction with the Fund Managers.
Ideally, we are looking for someone who has a very solid background in real estate, with an excellent understanding of markets, as opposed to specific stocks, and who is capable of thinking outside of the box. Applicants should come from real estate brokerages, global real estate services providers, or perhaps other real estate focused investment houses on the buy-side. Around 3-5 years' work experience in the real estate space, with a real estate or economics related degree, would be ideal.
