We have an exciting opportunity for a role within the Technology department to help shape the banks Regulatory Reporting platform, Moody's Risk Authority.

This role requires a skilled Reg Reporting Analyst who can undertake day-to-day support helping the support team to manage and enhance functionality around a number of regulatory reporting regimes including Capital, Liquidity and Stress Reporting.

Key responsibilities:
  • Address day-to-day queries or system issues identified by users including the Regulatory Reporting team, Business Intelligence team, Treasury or Technology
  • Collaborate with end users and help analyse, troubleshoot and gather system requirements paying attention to ensuring functional and system requirements have are factored into solution design
  • Provide a level of due diligence around validating functional requirements and contextualize them against regulatory language
  • Have a rudimentary level understanding of SQL* Plus to help interrogate data within the database
  • Work on functional configuration changes using the the regulatory reporting application (Moody's Risk Authority) and use application functionality to help deliver extensions and enhancements
  • Report to the team lead and keep management abreast of status and progress on in-flight issues
  • Ensure due diligence has been carried out on all software changes, paying particular attention to detail on unit, component and systems integration testing
  • Work closely with the technology developers ensuring go-live releases are executed smoothly and in a co-ordinated manner

Skills and experience:
  • Worked in a support team within the regulatory reporting having a strong appreciation of Basel III and the implications to a trading and investment business
  • Have a strong appreciation of securities and investment banking traded products and be at ease articulating Fixed Income, Derivative, Credit & Cash products
  • Appreciate the European Banking Authority directives. An added bonus would be exposure to wider jurisdictions of the Americas and Japan
  • It would be helpful to have worked with regulatory application software Moody's Risk Authority (RAY) or Fermat
  • Have basic database interrogation skills, and be able to construct simple SQL statements
  • Have experience working on regulatory reporting platforms for an FS, ideally with exposure to Regulatory Reporting such as Capital and/or Liquidity
  • Strong experience working with interfaces and appreciate ETL's, batch processing, data warehouses etc…
  • Have worked in a fast paced BaU environment and appreciate deadlines the regulatory reporting teams are working towards
  • Pay great attention to detail and be client driven with a focus on delivery and milestones
  • Have exceptional communication skills, being able to converse with a wide variety of stakeholders including department heads
  • Would be advantageous working on scheduling software such as Control-M
  • Be flexibile, particularly when working on rolling out system changes in non-business hours
  • Provide post live production support as and when needed
