To promote and protect the ‘FAB’ brand and reputation across Europe and ensuring that all communications support the Group strategy in driving sustainable business growth by i) enhancing the Group’s visibility and reputation with existing clients, ii) developing and implementing a marketing/communications strategy for targeting potential clients and new business segments, iii) leveraging the press and digital activity (social media, website etc.) and iv) protecting, promoting and growing the FAB brand through clear messaging and positioning.
Job specific accountabilities
- Working closely with the regional and country CEO to devise an effective brand marketing campaign for fab Europe across all relevant business streams.
- Working closely with the appropriate heads of group functions to ensure delivery of a product that is relevant for the client base in Europe.
- Making sure that the group’s brand and marketing guidelines are adhered to in all marketing activities in Europe and working with the group function to develop a ‘fab’ story that resonates with clients in Europe.
Specific accountability
- Developing contingent communication plans to deal with crisis situations and possible difficult situations that may have a negative effect on the ‘fab’ brand (e.g. the fallout from the current UK regulatory enforcement investigation)
- Leveraging the group function to design and implement a comprehensive marketing and corporate communications strategy for fab Europe that utilises both digital and traditional platforms.
- Working in conjunction with the regional and country CEO to, I) produce ideas for promotional events & activities, corporate & social responsibility initiatives and organise them efficiently, and ii) develop and maintain an internal communications programme that supports the embedding of the group’s corporate culture and values across Europe.
- Plan and execute campaigns that support the promotion of the fab brand across Europe
- Review the content of the fab website to ensure it is and remains relevant to FAB’s European business activities and meets local regulatory requirements.
- Acting as the primary interface to the press (newspapers / journals, television, radio, etc.) to i) build strategic relationships, ii) sell the ‘fab’ story, and iii) anticipate / deal with potentially damaging stories / events.
Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience working at the most senior of levels in a multi-national, multi-cultural company as a professional in marketing and corporate communications.
- Strong understanding of effective PR and marketing communications.
- Successful experience in launching and driving brand marketing campaigns that have built Momentum for a brand’s awareness and client acquisition.
- An English speaker but with a second European language – ideally French.
