SEI are looking to build and expand our Defined Contribution pension offering in the UK and other markets so are now looking for a proven Sales Director. As one of the leading Master Trust providers with a reputation for innovation, we will look to you to make a real impact on increasing assets under management through promoting our outsourced investment, administration and governance solution to potential clients and key intermediaries.

What you’ll do:

  • Using your outstanding relationship skills you will maximize our current relationships and revel in developing new ones. These may be with consultants involved in DC consulting, trustees and plan sponsors of DC schemes as well as independent trustees and others who are potential sources of leads.
  • You’ll be our ‘ear to the ground’ attending networking and industry events and will provide insightful market intelligence. You’ll keep communication flowing around prospects and progress and will proactively look to develop your already strong knowledge of industry trends, regulatory changes and market forces.
  • You’ll lead prospective clients or their consultants through the sales process to ensure we can deliver the best solutions to support their needs.
  • Working with our Institutional RFP team you will help produce exceptional RFPs and will look to respond comprehensively to questionnaires.
  • Once you have finalized the contractual relationship, you’ll be acutely aware of the need for a smooth transition of the prospect to our relationship team

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • A strong understanding and experience of running an outsourcing sales proposition, including managing a pipeline and influencing both direct prospects and key intermediaries
  • The impact and self-assurance that comes with a proven record of influencing senior executives in order to close complex and high-value arrangements
  • The drive and initiative to establish new DC relationships and to improve existing ones
  • The personality that takes satisfaction from meeting aggressive sales targets

What you might also have:

  • A track record in business development / technical investment knowledge or experience in managing relationships with third party consultants
  • Optional knowledge of the UK pensions market along with DC experience. You may come from an investment consulting or investment administration background
  • Industry qualifications such as CFA or IMC
