We are looking for a Regulatory Compensation Specialist to join the EMEA Regulatory Compensation team, based in London. This role provides an excellent opportunity for you to have a high level of impact within an evolving regulatory and business environment.

The Compensation Specialist will play a key role in:

  • Leading the regulatory environment and its impact on compensation within EMEA and globally. Examples include supporting the Material Risk Taker processes, implementation of the EBA Guidelines, Culture initiatives and disclosure obligations
  • Analysis of consultation papers and feedback to industry bodies as required
  • Supporting the design, development and implementation of regulatory compensation processes and policies to ensure compliance with regulation and alignment with overall HR and business strategy
  • Supporting year-end compensation processes
  • Promoting knowledge of compensation regulation, including the design and delivery of training
  • Providing subject matter expertise to partners including the broader Compensation team, HR Business Partners and the business itself
  • Supporting change management including partner collaboration and communication strategy
  • Investigating and responding to audit queries

  • Proven experience of regulatory compensation in the Financial Services sector
  • Demonstrable knowledge of the EMEA regulatory environment, including the Senior Manager and Certification Regime
  • Agility to manage multiple deliverables and stakeholders effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Strong project management, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Driven, challenges the status quo and contributes to solutions

  • High level of integrity and able to maintain confidentiality at all times
