This is a unique role that mixes together (PRA and FCA) regulation, operation controls and data analysis from management information. Key Elements

  • Obtain and maintain detailed knowledge of appropriate legislation, regulations and guidance published by UK, EU and other regulatory bodies relating to core banking products.
  • Responsibilities will include analysis of reports, assist in the development, maintenance and reporting on the thematic monitoring plan.
  • Support colleagues whose role it is to design, systemise, administer and create training for banking products that are compliant with the appropriate legislation, regulations and guidance.
  • Provide support and guidance to the regional compliance teams.

Key Skills

  • Be able to demonstrate appropriate knowledge of a full range of banking products and functionality for Individual and Corporate products and process preferably with practical experience of sales process and documentation.
  • A strong understanding of the UK regulations/ rulebooks specifically the PRA and FCA requirements.
  • Experience of thematic monitoring and documenting compliance with related internal and external regulations/process.
  • Strong communication, reasoning and influencing skills are vital.
  • Sound judgement and strong decision-making skills, based on the Bank's core principles.
  • An ability to self-manage, using own initiative without needing direction, remain motivated and lead by example
  • Exceptionally strong focus on delivering timely and high-quality customer service.
