Description of the Business Line or Department
SGIL offers a full range of clearing and execution services for futures and options on listed financial, over-the-counter (OTC) clearing and commodity markets. The Company does not take proprietary positions but in the normal course of business facilitation can hold limited residual positions to accommodate its customer activities. In addition, the Company provides coverage for a broad range of fixed income, foreign exchange (FX), equity and commodity products in both listed and OTC markets. The Company also provides clients with value added services including a prime brokerage offering, electronic platforms for trading and order routing, cross margining and the centralised reporting of client portfolios.

Summary of the key purposes of the role
Production of the Regulatory reports sent to the FCA
Implementation of the new production process for the COREP and daily RWA using Group tools
Work on the Group and local regulatory projects

Summary of responsibilities
Production of the Regulatory reports sent to the FCA (FSA047/48, FSA001/002, COREP, Asset Encumbrance)

Provide Management and business partners with ad-hoc analysis and forecast;

Preparation of adequate answers to any regulator, Group or Management requests;

Deploying any new Group policy, methodology change, project, while ensuring their compliance with the UK FCA regulation;

Manage data extraction and produce Risk Weighted Assets of SGIL on a daily basis

Ensure data reliability from source systems extractions, and ensure reconciliation with UK General ledger and Risk systems;

Improve data quality in liaison with other stakeholders (Legal, Risk, ....);

Production of analysis for Management and Business Lines (by activity, clients, ....);

Regulatory simulation of new products impacts for Business Lines;

Monitoring and analysis of UK weighted assets forecasts and limits.

WORK EXPERIENCE
Over 5-8 years of experience with Regulatory environment
EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Economics
University Degree in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines
LANGUAGES
This function implies many contacts in an international environment on technical topics which require excellent verbal and written level in English
