Our client is an international banking group looking for a regulatory reporting manager, focused on capital reporting. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of capital, leverage and large exposures reporting, including COREP, Pillar 3 and internally with monthly MI to the Group FD and the Capital Adequacy Committee

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of capital, leverage and large exposures reporting, including COREP, Pillar 3 and internally with monthly MI to the Group FD and the Capital Adequacy Committee

The role will have 1 direct report

Responsibilities:

Submission of regulatory returns

  • Review and analysis of quarterly capital returns
  • Support production and review of other regulatory returns as required
  • Review and enhance existing reporting processes, with a particular focus on controls
  • Work with the Regulatory Policy and Planning Manager to ensure accurate delivery of new regulatory returns and reports, ensuring appropriate involvement of relevant staff

Preparation of management information

  • Prepare monthly packs for senior management, covering capital and leverage metrics under both standardised and IRB approaches
  • Review and enhance existing management information to ensure it meets the needs of the users

Financial Reporting of regulatory metrics and Pillar 3

  • Prepare and manage key capital, leverage and other CRD IV disclosures in Interim and Annual Financial Statements, including preparation of key explanatory communications and reconciliations for senior management
  • Prepare and finalise group’s Pillar 3 regulatory disclosures within required timescales
  • Liaise with Investor Relations team in dealing with prudential regulatory queries from investors and other stakeholders
  • Manage ad hoc reporting and communication to Bank and Group’s senior management, including involvement in formal reporting to Board and Exco on key regulatory ratios and future developments

Regulatory change

  • Support the regulatory change process by supporting projects and providing input into requirement definition documents
  • Where relevant, carry out impact analysis of proposed regulatory changes
  • Implement any required changes to the reporting procedures

 

Required:

  • Proven track record within capital reporting for a bank
