The Position and Expectations
We are currently seeking to recruit a Relationship Analyst to join our EMEA Consultant Relations team in London. This individual will work closely with the existing team of 3 people, working on a broad range of responsibilities that will provide support and structure to the wider efforts of the Consultant Relations team in EMEA. The successful candidate will also collaborate with the other team members within the Global Relationship Group (GRG) and members of the broader Global Consultant Relations team as needed.
Responsibilities The successful candidate, located in our London office, will provide support and project work for the Regional Consultant Relations team.
The Global Consultant Relations team is charged with managing consultant relationships with a focus on cultivating new business and expanding existing relationships. Consultant relationships are critical to our firm as a significant share of our advisory and fiduciary clients rely on the advice of these consultants for investment decisions. As such, the consultants represent a significant source of leverage for business growth, client service, and retention. Due to the broad range of responsibilities within the function, this role offers an excellent entry point into the business and will provide the successful candidate with a comprehensive understanding of Wellington's 'client first' mindset. You will work closely with Client Service colleagues who provide reporting and operational client support, as well as our investors and Investment Product and Strategy team (IPS). Specific responsibilities will include:
- Oversight for the preparation of presentation, briefing and reporting materials, including a liaison role with other internal functions such as Marketing, Client Reporting, and Client Services.
- Support the Relationship Managers and Account Manager with follow up communications from client meetings.
- Responding to RFI's regarding specific opportunities, as well as other adhoc queries/requests
- Ownership of Salesforce and the integrity of data within Salesforce, as well as providing support for the creation of business plans.
- Understand the client base of the team, including key stakeholders, needs and biases. The successful candidate should also be responsible for understanding the broader consultant market place both across EMEA and globally.
The successful candidate is likely to possess the following skills or qualifications:
Able to demonstrate sound knowledge or interest of the financial markets, including the role of investment consultants.
Strong writing and English grammar skills
Confident with MS Office, in particular Excel
Well organized, ability to multi-task and detail oriented
You should be intellectually curious and be able to demonstrate self-awareness and humility.
