We have a long- standing relationship with our client, who has an enduring prestigious reputation in the Private Banking market. They are searching for dynamic and organised individuals to provide wide- ranging assistance to Relationship Managers. The role offers the opportunity to work under a well -respected name within banking whilst studying towards a CeMAP qualification.

The primary focus of the role is supporting the relationship management team and the high net worth customers of the bank. As part of our client’s commitment to providing an infallible service  to clients, Relationship Manager’ Assistant’s receive coaching from senior and established employees within the business. The training offered within the role can in time lead to progression within the business.

Aspects of the role include:
• Completing required paperwork and customer record maintenance
• Providing administrative co-ordination with other areas of the bank such as Banking Operations
• A point of contact with customers on a daily basis for day-to-day issues
• Write letters to customers and intermediaries
• Attend meetings with the Relationship Managers and take notes
• Manage security documentation and maintain security database

The ideal candidate for the role will have some experience in the financial services sector looking after high net worth clients and possess some knowledge of financial markets, although above all a willingness to learn and desire to represent the company and their values with earnest.

Other skills:
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong numeracy skills
• Ability to work in a team

With training, you will develop the skills to:
• Prepare lending propositions to the required standard
• Have a good understanding of the Regulated Mortgage Contracts and Consumer Credit Act regulations
• Provide Business Development Support to Relationship Managers
• Adhere to the department’s risk management regime
• Provide desk cover for the Relationship Management
• Monitor daily overdraft positions
