You will be responsible for managing the Revenue and AUM Team, including the delivery of sales and AUM reporting and accounting for revenue within Jupiter’s operational entities. The team consists of two assistant accountants and a Sales MI analyst. We require you to have excellent core accounting skills, who can manage and organise a team to deliver high-quality reporting and accounts on time.

Job Introduction

You will be responsible for managing the Revenue and AUM Team, including the delivery of sales and AUM reporting and accounting for revenue within Jupiter’s operational entities. The team consists of two assistant accountants and a Sales MI analyst.

We require you to have excellent core accounting skills, who can manage and organise a team to deliver high-quality reporting and accounts on time.

Role Responsibility

Management of the Sales MI team, ensuring that all reporting and information is provided accurately on a timely basis.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Sales reporting (monthly and flash)
  • Allocation of sales and AUM to the correct sales team, firm and distribution channel
  • Ad-hoc reporting and requests for revenue related information
  • Reconciliation of the Sales and AUM data warehouses
  • Provision of “look-through” information from fund supermarkets
  • Manage the development prioritises with the data technology team

Management of the revenue team, ensuring that revenue is accounted for correctly in the ledger for all group companies. Including the management of core processes, including:

  • Accruals
  • Balance sheet reconciliations – monthly sign off
  • Intercompany reconciliations
  • Month-end close
  • Review and analysis of revenue
  • Completion of statutory accounts for external reporting
  • Liaising with auditors on all revenue queries
  • Transfer pricing calculations and input into methodology
  • Bank reconciliations review
  • A central point of contact for all revenue related queries from the business
  • AUM reporting – monthly review and sign off
  • Fee billing
  • Oversight of transfer agency accounting

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience of core finance ledger processes.
  • Team management experience
  • Experience of statutory account reporting
  • Ability to build strong relationships across the business at all levels
  • Strong Excel modelling experience
  • Excellent analysis and attention to detail
  • Revenue and AUM reporting experience within asset management
  • Detailed knowledge of GL processes and account structures
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to challenge and influence
  • A motivated team player
  • A recognised accountancy qualification or equivalent (CIMA, ACA, ACCA)
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
