RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS The Securities Division enables our clients to buy and sell financial products, raise funding and manage risk. We make markets and facilitate client transactions in fixed income, equity, currency and commodity products. Through our global sales force, we maintain relationships with our clients, receiving orders and distributing investment research, trading ideas, market information and analysis. Fixed income, currency and commodities teams transact in a variety of assets, including interest rate products (such as government bonds, treasury bills and other highly liquid instruments), credit products, mortgages, currencies and commodities.

Our main product focus is Foreign Exchange but we also help our clients in other asset classes including Interest Rates and Precious Metals. Our primary client base is Banks and other Financial Institutions within EMEA. Covering this client base enables salespeople to have a deep understanding of a number of products and provides the opportunity to see how these products are used by our clients.
Banks Sales requires a passion for macroeconomic markets, financial products and strong interpersonal skills. These provide the foundations for building and developing strong client relationships. The role also requires fast thinking, strong numerical skills and an entrepreneurial spirit.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Selling of Foreign Exchange, Interest Rate and Precious Metals Products
  • Pricing, structuring and executing the above products in both cash and derivative formats
  • Developing and maintaining strong client relationships all over EMEA
  • Developing trade ideas and solutions to complex client needs
  • Working closely with colleagues across the firm including Trading, Research and Strats
  • Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving ability
