Covering the Securities Lending and Enhanced Custody businesses with annual revenues in excess of $90m and clients including Sovereign Wealth Funds, Asset Owners, Pension Funds, Asset Managers and Hedge Funds, the role holder will have intimate knowledge of the securities finance business within EMEA and how this fits into the Global framework. Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Management reporting for key stakeholders including Townhalls and monthly updates. Forecasting of revenues and costs with understanding of key drivers
  • Focus on risk excellence and ensuring the EMEA team maintain these standards
  • Responsibility for all internal communications as key point of contact within Global Markets
  • Strategy and budget development alongside Global counterparts, implementation and execution. 3 Year Strategy key deliverable across the 2 business streams
  • Expense management and control achieving NBIT and Operating Margins required. Constant and effective dialogue with sales, trading and senior management to ensure these targets are met
  • Personnel training and development including execution on hiring plans. Established cross-departmental EMEA educational workshops bringing together groups from around the bank and allowing for an inclusive learning environment
  • Marketing strategy execution and delivery including management of departmental external communications and key messaging points
  • Disaster Recovery oversight, ownership, planning and testing
  • Establishing best practice and enhancing processes for efficiency across Global Markets divisions for Salesforce360 and Graduate hiring
  • Legal entity view and management of financials for reporting purposes, maintenance of Chinese walls and upmost discretion between business lines
